Assembled from an old fuel funnel, a chromed petrol can and a 19th Century copper wine funnel. These photos don't do it justice - I really rather like this one.

I get by with a little help from my friends...

After overcoming logistical problems (like not being able to heat up copper with electrical wire inside which meant disassembling and reassembling the piece numerous times to solder) and with the brains, brawn and knowledge of my dear friends Alex and Rich, the latest lamp is done. Just need to attach a switch, polish it up and get it into the public domain.

Darkness fell...and it was good.

Extremely surprised to walk past The Globe this afternoon and see them up - Adam was keeping it on the down low. Looking forward to darkness falling so I can see the full effect but here are some photos 'til then...
